History
Nairobi as the Capital City is the result of the railway construction by the British. Halfway on the route from the coast to Lake Victoria, the railway engineers found a swampy place, named by the Maasai as ‘Enkare Neerobi’- place of cool waters.

Giraffe Centre
Founded in 1979, is located 20 kilometers from Nairobi City Centre. Its home to the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. The main attraction for both school children and visitors is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform. The Giraffe Center is also home to several warthogs which freely roam the area along with the giraffes.
Nairobi National Park
Founded in 1946, the park is the oldest in Kenya and the only one located in the capital city of Kenya: Nairobi City. It is fenced and allows the vast wildlife freely giving a picturesque experience for photographers. It’s also the host of the famous Nairobi Orphanage that has caged wildlife, the Nairobi Safari Walk that has a walk way that allows guests view wildlife and finally Daphne Seldrick Elephant Orphanage that allows guests interact with Orphaned elephants and support them.
Karen Blixen Museum
Karen Blixen was established by the famous Danish Author Karen Blixen and her husband. Its located at Karen just 10 km from Nairobi at the foot of the Ngong Hills" It’s also full and rich of history and famous for the book Out of Africa which chronicles life at the estate.
Nairobi Museum and Snake Park.
The Nairobi Museum was established in 1910 by a group of East African Naturalists and located at the heart of Nairobi City. The main goal was to conduct an ongoing critical scientific examination of the natural attributes of East Africa, It’s also has a gallery and home to the famous Snake Park where guests get to enjoy the vast reptiles on the area.
